Exploring Brazil's North-East
Beaches, carnival, Candomble, music and mountains
Brazil is a country of contrasts, most isolated areas and densely populated
cities. Brazil is secret, music, food, tropical forests and villas. This is
the Amazon and drought-stricken states in the north-east, South America's
eastern region.
The states of the north-east of Alagoas, Bahia, Ceara, Maranhao, Paraiba,
Pernambuco, Piaui, Rio Grande do Norte and Sergipe are distinguished from
others in Brazil. The African population is strong and mestizos, the kitchen is
more spicy, hot, dry weather. Areas called Sertão are more scarce than

dune buggy or horses.
